Jack Eyerly collection on Pacific Northwest Art
The Jack Eyerly collection consists of seven decades of notes, correspondence, artists’ papers, gallery showcards, posters, artworks, sketchbooks, and other assorted pieces of historical material exchanged between Eyerly and artists from across the Northwest and beyond. Over 200 artists are represented in the collection.
Carl Hall papers
The Carl Hall papers document the art and teaching careers of Carl Hall from 1940-2008. This collection includes World War II correspondence between Hall and his wife and family, as well as, sketches by Hall during his service in the Philippines and Okinawa, Japan. It also includes an extensive collection of Hall’s drafts and published manuscripts, essays, and articles concerning art and life philosophy.
Bill Rhoades Northwest Art Archive
The Bill Rhoades Northwest Art Archive (1892-2023) documents regional art and artists through correspondence, exhibition catalogs, gallery materials, and artifacts collected by Rhoades. The collection covers sculptors, painters, printmakers, and photographers, alongside records reflecting Rhoades's career as a journalist and outdoor enthusiast. Together, these materials provide insight into the development, promotion, and preservation of Northwest art and cultural history.
Nelson and Olive Sandgren papers
The Nelson and Olive Sandgren papers document the art and teaching careers of Nelson Sandgren and contains extensive personal records of the Sandgren family from 1936 to 2016.
