Founders' and Benefactors' Day programs, 2005
Description
In 1912, the Board of Trustees designated February 22 as Founders' and Benefactors' Day to commemorate the founding of Willamette and its supporters. The next Founders' and Benefactors' Day was not held until February 1950. Through the 1960s, Founders' and Benefactors' Day often coincided with the winter commencement excercises and aligned with the month of the Universities founding in February 1842. Programs include lists of events and speakers.
