Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Along with individual artists, Eyerly was well connected with the many organizations that were both composed and in support of artists throughout the Northwest. Eyerly was committed not only to artists on a personal level but also to connecting artists with the resources that they needed to be effective in realizing their goals. Eyerly was involved with organizations of all scales from large groups devoted to the arts, such as the National Endowment for the Arts, to smaller, locally-organized groups such as the Northwest Film and Video Center where Eyerly was a board member. In all cases, Eyerly kept meticulous records of his interactions with these groups and of distributing their resources to artists. The documents in this subseries reflect Eyerly’s position as the go-between for artists and the larger organizations whose resources the artists needed to thrive.
