Scope and Contents
Bob Packwood’s memoir, “Moments in Time,” provides an overview of his life and career, covering milestones such as childhood, academic training, and political service at the local and national levels. The first-person narrative, augmented with excerpts from newspaper clippings and letters as well as anecdotes, offers insight into the political strategies, campaigns, and significant legislation that are hallmarks of Packwood’s career.
