Records of Women’s College, Willamette University and Faculty Meeting Minutes, Willamette University, 1880-1894

The Women's College records cover the years 1880 to 1888. The Women's College minutes contain the Constitution and By-Laws of the college. The Willamette University faculty meeting minutes cover October 24, 1892 to June 8, 1894. Willamette Presidents during this time were President George Whitaker and President Willis Chatman Hawley. The minutes begin on page 171, and on page 225 there is information about a committee appointed to "draft resolutions on the resignation of President George Whitaker" with a transcription of the resolution on page 228.
