Faculty Meeting Minutes, Willamette University, 1906-1913
Scope and Contents
The information written on the binding and front of the volume is incorrect. The date of first meeting recorded is October 3, 1906. Presidents during this time were President John Hamline Coleman and President Fletcher Homan. Documents in the volume include the regulations governing practice teaching and registration, faculty rules and regulations, and adjustments of credits. Minutes of interest include the December 11, 1908 entry which contains a motion carried to adjourn all classes Wednesday December 16 for the laying of the cornerstone of Eaton Hall and April 6, 1909, a special meeting, when, upon motion Professors Patterson and Von Eschen were appointed to consult the health office of the city about "the smallpox case on campus and to advise our students accordingly."
