Portland State University Vanguard, 1980 March - July
Scope and Contents
Many arts institutions from the Northwest publish periodic journals to keep their supporters informed about changes and upcoming events that they will be sponsoring. As a board member and supporter of many different organizations, Eyerly was supplied with copies of these journals. Additionally, he subscribed to many Northwest publications that discussed the social happenings with which he was so closely tied, including topics of homelessness, the redevelopment of Portland, and the history of Oregon. Represented in this series are the Northwest Film and Video Study Center, the Pacific Northwest College of Art, the Time Based Art Festival, the Animator, RAIN, the Oregon Historical Society and many other important Northwest-related publications. These publications document the artistic and social history that existed around Eyerly, and they give examples of what information would have been circulating through the public.
