Preliminist Dilemma, The Vestibule, undated
Scope and Contents
Amos conceived and named the philosophy of Preliminism in the early 1960s. He then gave it to friend and Portland State University professor, Graham Conroy. This series includes writing and articles related to the philosophy of Preliminism, as well as the opposing philosophy of Ultimism. The article "Pair Pursues the Practice of Practice" in The Neighbor outlines Preliminism and the friendship of Amos and Conroy. The promotional stickers and buttons mentioned in this article can be found throughout the Rex Amos papers.
