Scope and Contents
Appropriations Committee records: deal specifically with Oregon projects, Oregon constituents, and/or Oregon issues. Through discussions with the Senate Archivist, it was determined that because of their direct connection to Oregon and to Senator Hatfield’s work on the Committee, these records belong with the rest of Hatfield’s papers at Willamette, despite the fact that these records were generated by Appropriations Committee staff.
