Accruals

Materials from the Office of Communications are deposited on a semi-regular basis. This finding aid is updated regularly to reflect these accruals. It underwent significant revision due to a large transfer in early 2018. In 2021, the collection underwent another significant revision. This included the addition of series II-III and additional materials into series I.

Separated Materials

Any newsletters and journals, though produced and printed by Communications, are described and physically housed as part of the University Publications collection. These include: Commencement materials, Inside Willamette, Directions, Troubador, Willamette Lawyer, and others.

Newspaper clippings were removed and placed in the general reference collection. Photographs were removed to the Campus Photographs collection (WUA9999). Audiovisual materials were removed to the Campus AV collection.

Building dedication programs, initially processed into this collection, were moved to the Facilities records (WUA130) in March 2022.
