Scope and Contents
Bob Packwood’s memoir, “Moments in Time – Part I,” provides an overview of his life and career, covering milestones such as childhood, academic training, and political service at the local and national levels. The first-person narrative, augmented with excerpts from newspaper clippings and letters as well as anecdotes, offers insight into the political strategies, campaigns, and significant legislation that are hallmarks of Packwood’s career.
