Scope and Contents
The Office of Student Engagement & Leadership (SEAL; formerly Office of Student Activities) advises the Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils at Willamette University, which oversee the Greek organizations. Records in this series are organized into subseries, with one subseries for the Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils, then a subseries for each fraternity or sorority: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Phi, Alpha Psi Delta, Beta Alpha Gamma, Beta Theta Pi, Delta Gamma, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Gamma Rho, Kappa Sigma, Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Chi, Phi Delta Theta. Records include council minutes, organization publications and scrapbooks, and fraternity and sorority awards.

Biographical / Historical
The Theta Delta chapter of the Kappa Sigma fraternity was established at Willamette University in 1961. Kappa Sigma operated on campus until Winter 2006 when their charter was revoked at the national level due to a history of alcohol-related violations. In 2012 the fraternity was reinstated. Campus philanthropic events include: the annual Tracy Hoffman run, and the annual Football Run.
