The Facilities Management records contain information about the physical plant of Willamette University. This includes planning and administrative documents as well as blueprints and other architectural drawings. The majority of these types of materials are still in active use and are maintained by the Facilities Management office. Contact the director of Facilities Management for inquiries about access to materials outside this finding aid.

Biographical / Historical

Built in 1948 and donated to the University in 1963 as a retreat for Willamette staff, students and faculty, Thetford Lodge was destroyed by wildfire in September 2020. More information about the legacy of Thetford Lodge can be found in this remembrance article.
