Scope and Contents
This series contains scrapbooks created by students to document their time at Willamette University. Largely covering the early half of the twentieth century, students' scrapbooks included programs, letters, souvenirs, photographs, and newspaper clippings. Programs include dances and dinners put on by campus fraternities, sororities, and residential organizations. Letters are from loved ones on-campus and at home. Collected souvenirs include dried flowers, pencils, name-cards, and in the case of Barbara Crookham Euler, tea bags and wedding cake.

Biographical / Historical
Elizabeth Briggs graduated in 1919 with a degree in History. She was a member of the Owyhee Club, the Adelante society, and the Lausanne Hall Club. She was also a senior scholar. She later taught mathematics and earned her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Oregon.
