Scope and Contents
This series contains scrapbooks created by students to document their time at Willamette University. Largely covering the early half of the twentieth century, students' scrapbooks included programs, letters, souvenirs, photographs, and newspaper clippings. Programs include dances and dinners put on by campus fraternities, sororities, and residential organizations. Letters are from loved ones on-campus and at home. Collected souvenirs include dried flowers, pencils, name-cards, and in the case of Barbara Crookham Euler, tea bags and wedding cake.

Biographical / Historical
Shirley Griffin spent her freshman year of college (1949-1950) at Willamette University. She was the Freshman class treasurer during her second sememster, and a member of Westminster Fellowship. Her mother, Hazel Malmsten, was a Willamette alum, class of 1926.
