Opening Days is the program welcoming and integrating new first-year and transfer students. It has previously been known as Orientation, Freshman Week, Freshmen Days, and Freshmen Conferences.

Records in this series document the planning and advertising of campus activities put on by the Office of Student Engagement & Leadership (SEAL; formerly Office of Student Activities). This series is further arranged into four subseries: A. Opening Days; B. Parent and Family Weekend; C. Junior and Senior Events; and D. General Campus Activities. Opening Days records also include student profiles created by incoming first-year and transfer students and by Opening Days student leaders.
