Sports and Recreation

The Chemawa Indian School research collection consists of original and photocopied records about the Chemawa Indian School, primarily compiled by SuAnn M. Reddick in the course of researching the history of the school. The collection also includes a large body of original photographs of Chemawa students and materials from the Chemawa Alumni Association.

The Harold Hauk collection contains athletics memorabilia gathered from Harold’s time as an athlete and coach.

The Pearl Harbor Game collection contains news articles, letters and transcriptions of interviews with participants, photographs, and memorabilia connected with Willamette University’s 1941 football team and its experience in Hawaii in the days following December 7, 1941.

The Athletics Department records contain the rosters, statistics, and news releases for Willamette University’s athletic teams. Also included are media guides, programs, and photographs for each sport. Records also document Willamette University’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

The Office of Student Activities records document the activities of student organizations and student-led events at Willamette University. Included are organizations such as the Associated Students of Willamette University and the Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils, as well as Opening Days and other programming.
